It is recommended to include them in all meals.<\/p>\n<h2>Fats.<\/h2>\n<p>Reducing total fat intake to less than 30% of daily caloric intake helps prevent unhealthy weight gain. Steaming or boiling is recommended. Limit your intake of baked or fried foods, as well as snacks and packaged foods.<\/p>\n<h2>Salt, sodium, and potassium.<\/h2>\n<p>A high intake of salt and insufficient potassium contributes to high blood pressure, which, in turn, increases the chances of developing heart disease and stroke.
