The detection of a neoplastic clone associated with the common chromosomal abnormalities seen in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Identification and monitoring of known chromosomal abnormalities in patients with CLL and monitoring treatment response. Distinctive patients with 11; 14 translocations that have a mantle cell lymphoma leukemic phase from patients with CLL. Detection of patients with atypical CLL or other forms of lymphoma associated with translocations between IGH/BCL2, BCl3, MYC, or other associated genes.
