Immune reconstitution assessment after hematopoietic cell transplant. Early detection of macroscopic quantitative abnormalities in lymphocyte subsets in infections or malignant tumors. Absolute quantification of circulating B cells for the diagnosis of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia as outlined in the 2008 International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia guidelines.
