Quality and patient safety promoters and pioneers.
For the tenth consecutive year, ABC Medical Center held its International Congress on Quality and Patient Safety, a forum to share initiatives to improve patient care quality and safety.
With great participation from the medical community and health professionals, the Congress addressed current strategic issues and advances, with lectures from national and international professors.
The strategic themes addressed were:
- Use of information
- Medication
- Human capital
- Infection control
- Environment care
- Better practices
More than 500 people attended the congress virtually.
It is the only quality congress in Mexico endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, for its Spanish acronym).
Like every year, an important part of the program is the open papers section, in which all organizations can present the implementation of an improvement in their organization and show its results in their hospitals. The best 3 papers received awards.
