Disease

Female sterility is when a woman is unable to become pregnant due to a cause attributable to her body.

Potential causes and risks:

There are several reasons why you could have infertility, such as: disorders in the ovulation process, endometriosis, damage to the uterus and fallopian tubes.

If you are over 30 years old, overweight or obese, smoke, drink alcohol in excess, or have sexually transmitted diseases, you are at higher risk of infertility.

Signs and symptoms Female sterility

The most obvious manifestation is not being able to get pregnant after having sex on a regular basis for a year. Other signs and symptoms will depend on the underlying cause, although other manifestations such as irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, or pain and inflammation in the pelvic area, could be associated with problems that cause infertility.
