Preparing for New Challenges

We have evaluation committees for complicated cases meet in a multidisciplinary manner to offer evidence-based medicine treatments and continuous monitoring of results.

We have state-of-the-art technology that competes with the best in the world.

Spine Clinic

Currently, 8 out of 10 diagnoses in neurosurgery are spinal-related conditions, so we hold monthly meetings to discuss articles and clinical cases that enrich professional practice through continuing education based on scientific medical evidence.

The Spine Clinic has clinical outcome indicators comparable to international centers, such as surgical site infections and unscheduled surgical reinterventions.

Parkinson's and Epilepsy Surgery

Our high specialty programs include surgery for involuntary movements such as Parkinson's and Epilepsy surgery.

The cases referring to these two conditions are individually planned by multidisciplinary teams of experts to guarantee the adequate selection of the patient candidates for this surgery.

patients with cerebral ischemia treated since 2015

Care protocol for

We have a Protocol to care for Ictus (Cerebral Vascular Disease), which day by day ensures that patients receive appropriate treatment that is fast, coordinated and effective.

We have seen more than 150 patients with a diagnosis of cerebral ischemia from 2015 to date. Of these, 46 were thrombosed in an average time of 58 minutes, below the international standard of care (60 minutes).

The clinical guidelines validate neuro-interventionist therapy (catheterization) as an effective option to recover cerebral circulation and minimize damage; ABC Medical Center is one of the few health centers nationwide where this treatment is offered with state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained personnel to perform the procedure.

Substantial improvements, year by year

Patient and Family Support Group

Our support groups seek to keep families and patients informed on issues related to the condition, enhance the person's ability and skills for self-care, avoid social isolation, contribute to the acceptance of limitations and effects, go beyond the condition and establish friendship and identity networks.
